really superb track.... if you didn't play guitar I feel you could make it on your vocal talent. Nice tonal qualtiy. Yes this is different for you but it sounds great. Guitar solo is classic... feeling from the heart. Those licks are just TOO hot.... this track prove that you're comfy in many settings. really superb track..... and I like it a lot.

Please don't take this the wrong way (some might) but this has a Barry Manilow feel to it, and what ever people tend to think about old Barry, he remains one of the best living songwriters out there so it's meant as a huge compliment.
Love the laidbackness, the vocals are wonderful and I love the do do's!
Pop? This could be Westlife's 14th number one!

I love the progression in this, especially the jazzy chords at 1.16... "summer comes but once a year".. the bass line is awesome there too.. oh great here comes that friggin solo again.. someone break this guys fingers..

Rog, this one just blew me away.
The best musicans are the ones that can reinvent themselves. You sound as equally at home here as you do ripping on a lowdown blues.
Beautiful song, wonderful vocal and a very evocative lyric, makes me a little homesick for dear old England and holidays past.
Great arrangement and of course, a searing guitar solo.
Brilliant.

This is a little bit different from your usual stuff... I like it a lot.
First off - your vocals sound great (I love the doo doo doos) When the guitar solo kicks in it really reminds me of Queen. This is one of my favourite songs of yours Rog.

Excellent song all the way around. Your singing is awesome and a song like this puts your voice way out front and it shines. Even though this is different from your usual stuff it is still very you. This is a great all around song. Your guitar lead is very good here. Great emotion and technique. I like how you really tweak the notes. Your playing is so dynamic. It's cool to listen to a laid back song like this and hear a great guitar solo thrown in is as the cherry on top. I'd like to hear more stuff like this from you.

This is just brilliant!
Your voice is very charismatic and you're in the pitch very well.
Love the lyrics too.
I like the backing vocals at 0:20. Nice idea there.
Nice chord progressions, and the drums are good too.
Very good solo as usual!
The phrasing is accurate and the tone is a nice mix between clear and smooth.
Just brilliant...

Wow, you weren't kidding. This is definitely sunny pop excellence. While I find all the cheery reminiscence less interesting than some of your 'slit the wrist' tracks, I can't deny the beautiful harmonies (those little "doo"s and "aah"s are amazing!) and the vocal melodies rest so perfectly on those juicy chord progressions in the keys. Drums get the job done, and yeah, your solo is definitely up to the usual standard.
I reckon this may be the best vocal work I've heard from you yet. You just sound so much more comfortable singing here though seeing how you're usually singing the blues, that makes sense. Sunshine and souvenirs don't call for the kinds of emotional cracks and edges you'll find in a jazzy lament.
Well done, traf!

Nice song here, shows versatility to your song writing. The guitar solo fits perfectly with the song. I'd maybe take the doo doos a little back in the mix, but that's just me being a picky git.

This is really good. It's got a lot of melancholy in there, a nostalgic (sure wish I knew how to spell that word) look at summer getaways and the bittersweet fact of their ending -- I can certainly relate, as I imagine a lot of people can. I dig it. Great work on the vocals, and the bassline is really cool too.
Guitar solo is fantastic.

Wow, the piano sets a lovely background and what I appreciate and like the most about this song must be the wonderful and unpredictable way you have placed those chords coupled with how the arrangement works in relation to that. I simply love the way the song progresses. Sometimes during the song I get the same feeling as from listening to some of the later progressions of what Yes have been doing, although IMHO they often try to make it too much of a "mix" between new and old to get to something with a feeling of freshness.
the entering major7 chords must be my favourite moments, it's a good thing those are more drawn out moments since they provide with enough emotion to allow that.
If it resembles anything, on a whole, it'd be like a personal crossover between The Beatles and Elton John (thinking specifically of the arrangement, some of the chords, the rythm for Elton).
The guitarsolo is (as always so well played) much suitable with those long notes, I was wondering if it wouldn't be too much with a solo, challenging the pop "groove" of the track, but you pulled it off
Lovely!

I've been listening to your tunes this moring. Are they all original? They're terrific!! Your guitar player could be a little more understated and subtle on some songs, but he's great!! Every song doesn't need to have a classic,Free Bird" type solo. That ends up getting a little monotinous. If you guys have a CD I want it. I'm going to look now.

I'd agree with the 'freebird type solo' if it weren't for the fact that your playing is an utter delight to listen to.
I'm nothing less than floored by your touch, emotion and skill on that axe of yours.
keep playing man...just keep playing.
