Nice piano on the intro, the whole song has a good groove and swing to it with some hip chords.
Like the lyric, emotional as always and some great guitar playing.

Love the soaring lead over that wonderful piano. I didn't know you tinkled on those ivories Mr T
Great vocals, and I love the lyrics: "you're like the sunrise...". Beautiful.

i was actually getting more of a carlos santana feeling (minus the whammy bar dives). the progression is really nice. nice job on those harmonies! the "keeps the cold away" turnaround is perfect.

Very different rhythmically to what I've heard of you previously. Hope you clean up those ivories after tinkling on them Fantastic guitaring (as always), I'd love to see you do that kind of thing live.

Awesome groove.. everything sounds great. So this would be 6/8 right? The piano and the bassline compliment each other so well. Do you play the bass in this or is it programmed?
Guitar solo is ok i spose.

Great vocals. You remind me a lot of mr Moore

Jamming Brother...... Vocal pitch and diction are right on….. Harmonies are kewl…….
I would like to hear the lead a little hotter in the mix - more to the front. A lot of tonal nuance gets lost when it that's far back. As well, with the chops you possess and the fact you are just playing the shit out of it - seems to me to be all the more reason to move it more to the front.
Produced and mixed well except where noted……. That late night session works seems to agree with you…….
Good Job - Great Tune

OMG....love the emotion in the notes. very nice keyboard work. even nicer vocals and lyrics... I agree with Marc, the guitar is OK (just joking of course, as the lead is some of the HOTTEST I've heard anywhere). Also agree with Gene about the mix...I would have put that lead a bit more up front...but damn, dude, such a lovely production and performance. This raises the bar for all the guitar players around here.....

well, i don´t know what to say about this... the guitar sound is incredible, you put a lot of emotion on each note, and that´s what make your songs amazing!!! i can´t tell you anything about production. for me is just perfect... just tell you that listen to your song makes me realize that i´m still far from that level...

I disagree with Gene and Tim, i think you should just damn well take the lead out.

Cool song. Are you singing about your guitar? This is adult guitar rock fusion. You have a maturity to your playing, but it still has a youthful energy. The thing about your guitar playing is it comes off so spontaneous. It's like pure emotion is pouring out a split second after your your brain(heart) has a thought. This is a classic example of how emotions and technical ability can come together perfectly.

Perfect! What else can I say?
Your versatility shines through on this one Rog This conjures beautiful imagery...a very emotional piece of music, great vocals and harmonies. The piano enhances the whole thing. And well...the guitar...amazing! This is music you can "feel" - not everyone can achieve that. This re-charges the soul! Wonderful!

A great track!
The vocals have a very mellow, bluesy fell that adds color. The guitar track is very well done, personally I would love to hear it "up" in the mix as it stands on it's own...
All in all, great work!!!

Very nice quartet of guitar, drums, bass, and piano. All the instruments compliment each other extremely well in this piece. The tone on the guitar is very friendly and soothing and played like an expert. Overall, an outstanding production. It sounds a teensy bit like Steely Dan which would possibly put it in the Fusion/Pop Genre as opposed to Alternative, but still a fantabulous tune, man!!

That you singing Rog? You sound a lot younger than you look
The piano and bass are very nice indeed
Cracking lead as usual. I do hear santana in the tone, maybe more Moore in the playing.
This is a very cool dreamy song

Now that's gat playing. I like the bounce in the rhythm, it's a nice groove. I like how it stays on track and when it does veer of into the sunset
you always bring it back to where it's supposed to be. Excellent work Traf I also like your vocals
and lyrics.

Piano is very soulful and jazzy and gives this track lots of bounce. Some great progressions. Still amazed at that great guitar sound and how you go between those marathon sustained notes to those lighting fast runs without touching the in between gears. A masterclass of musicianship again.

That's some extravagant electric! Yeah, the lyrics feel pretty generic and banal and all that, but heck, we all know you speak through your fingers Seriously, I can't get over some of the things you can pull off with that axe Beautiful jazz piano and vocal harmonizing, too. In other words, another nigh-flawless performance, old boy!

That guitar is alive!
Little Jazz backing on this one. An all around good tune, the vocals are clear which I like, sorta rings a bell but I can't say which bell, a good one anyway hehe. Very pleasant to listen to. That guitar is really singing the song away at the end too...

A lot of people (rightly) comment on your guitar skill, but I think we sometimes overlook the fact you have a great voice too... that came out to me in this song.
Wow... everything about this is red hot. Piano, bass, guitar, harmonica... is there anything you can't play?
Beautiful song man. Really enjoyed it.

A lot of you guys are mentioning the bass on this number.
Some while ago I sat and sampled my bass for Rog, so he could use it on his recordings.
Without him confirming it I wouldn't say for sure, but it could well be my samples being used, I'll ask when I get a chance.
None of Roger's songs surprize me anymore, after working with Rog for a few years, playing along side the old git, I've heard all his licks
And...... I still love em.
He may not have told anyone here, but he started off as a bass player.
I'm glad he gave it up, he would have shamed me by now.
And the world wouldn't have had such a brilliant guitarist.
Luv ya Rog.
Ya still make the hairs on me neck stand on end.

Warm Blue Jazz on a cold Cold Day. The piano is very bright romping throughout the song Beautiful tone on your lead Rog sounds like you got a wha-wha slightly pressed The phase makes it sound blustery perfect for the song.
